Freedom dies with a whimper

English freedom has been quietly escorted out of the building under the cover of darkness into a dimly lit back alley, where, with no more than a little whimper, it was forced to its knees, a silenced pistol was pointed at the back of its head, the trigger pulled, and the limp body covertly hidden away in a shallow grave in the woods.

My previous post, earlier today, highlighted the French government's hypocrisy in bringing in mandatory vaccinations for certain members of society a mere two days before celebrating their national day of liberty, equality and fraternity.

Let's now turn our attention to equally disgusting, but more underhand developments in the UK.

UK government hypocrisy

Despite promises in the past that there will be no vaccine mandates in the UK, it should come as no surprise that the UK government has gone back on its word within a few short months (again!), and has quietly mandated vaccines for all care home staff in the UK.

Just one day after Macron's bold TV statement on exactly the same mandate, UK Parliament voted on the evening of Tuesday 13th July on the subject of mandatory vaccines for care home staff.

The vote was quietly announced last week, with very little fanfare in any of the mainstream media.

Quite a few MPs expressed concern about the vote, as they hadn't been provided with the impact study they had been promised which would give them the opportunity to make an informed decision - see the UK Column video at the bottom of the article for more info on this.

In fact there is some confusion over whether the impact study has actually been completed.

Yet the vote pressed ahead regardless.

Lack of reporting in mainstream media

The result of last night's vote was... well, a little difficult to find. I've been using the search phrase:

"UK parliament mandatory vaccine vote result 13th July 2021"

which you would think would unearth the answer quite quickly.

There are surprisingly few newspaper articles covering the matter. Here is a link to the result on the UK government website:

319 for, 246 against. That's a majority of 73 MPs in favour of forcing people to be injected with an experimental treatment, without having seen or read any sort of impact study before making their decision.

BBC news

Surprised today at how difficult is seemed to find details on what happened in what might well be one of the most critical votes in UK history, I watched the BBC news at 6 pm.

Nothing. Absolutely no word about the monumental decision that had been made the previous evening.

Try a search for yourself on Google, even on Duck Duck Go. There is very little to be found.

UPDATE 16th July: Here is an article I discovered on the BBC website. It's dated 16th - three days after the vote. I can't find a link to it anywhere on the main bbc.co.uk page:

The death of freedom

In stark contrast to the blatant, confident French announcement, it would appear that the UK government has enacted a very similar ruling, but hidden away behind a wall of complicit media silence.

Why is this such a big deal?

Well, the UK hasn't had any form of mandatory vaccination rules since the mid-18th century.

Here's a recent BBC "fact check" article dated 9th May 2020
in which they are keen to point out that:

"Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984... explicitly states that regulations cannot require a person to undertake medical treatment, including vaccination."

This vote sets an enormous precedent, and will no doubt prove to be the thin end of the wedge, as more and more people in the months ahead get placed under mandatory vaccination orders.

As Martin Niemöller said about the Nazis:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Make no mistake, they're coming for all of us eventually. It would be a big mistake at this point not to speak out, because you are not a care home worker.

Simply share this article to inform others about what is going on in England, and throughout Europe (see below) right under our noses.

In other countries

In other European countries...

Greece announced on Monday that health care workers will be suspended if they refuse to get vaccinated. That's the very same day Macron made his announcement.

Italy have also mandated vaccines for health care workers, according to this 15th July article from Fox 5 in Atlanta:

Fox 5 seem to be blissfully unaware that the UK have made the same ruling.

A co-ordinated plan...?

It stretches credibility to imagine 4 European nations (I'm counting England as European for the sake of simplicity here) just happen to make the same mandates within a couple of days of each other, without any consultation or pre-planning.

It would seem pretty obvious that there is a co-ordinated plan being rolled out, and it isn't hard to imagine that there are dark motives behind such a plan.

Once again, I strongly suggest watching today's episode of UK Column.

Start watching at the beginning of the video for coverage of the latest outrages from the UK government. The segment is about 12 minutes long, but again I'd encourage watching the whole show.
